Our Sip and Support was a huge success!

Our Sip and Support was a huge success!

Our Sip and Support event was a huge success! It exceeded all of our expectations. The atmosphere we created with Highlands was so welcoming and filled with laughter. Breast Cancer affects 1 in 9 Kiwi women and Jo wanted to host an event like this because Radiance employs women, and has a high client base of women. So for Jo, it is important to be able to create awareness and make positive changes in our community and beyond. The Breast Cancer Foundation does so much good and provides an incredible amount of support for people that are going through their journey. For Jo, being in business is about making an impact where possible. She is so grateful to have people around to help Radiance raise over $7000 for the Breast Cancer Foundation during our fundraiser.

Our fundraiser was an evening of emotion. Lots of laughing as well as hearing some truly heartfelt experiences. We had the privilege to be educated on what to look for, and how to check your boobs.

We were grateful to have the remarkable people who spoke; Alice van Zijl who taught us what breast cancer actually is, and Michelle Smith who spoke about her journey with Breast Cancer. It made the evening even more special. We appreciate everyone who came along and to those who generously donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation. Your support and contributions have made such an impact. Our fundraising goal of $3000 was not only met, but doubled! We raised over $7000 for the Breast Cancer Foundation

A big thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this event possible. We would also like to give a huge thank you to our event sponsors. These businesses gave to our event and donated items to the silent auction, where all the proceeds went to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Highlands Motorsport Park - We can not thank you enough for co-hosting this event with us. Your staff were amazing, the food was delicious, everything was perfect. Josie had us laughing all night and it couldn’t have been done better!

Quartz Reef -  The many bottles of donated bubbles went down a treat! We appreciate it a lot, and I am sure all the ladies at the event appreciated you too.

The Cake Lab - Thank you Judith for the platters of sweet treats for the event. They were loved by everyone!

Libby Hamilton with your beautiful voice - you created a such a loving atmosphere with your singing and it tied our evening together

Thank you to our incredible business friends that donated to the silent auction:

Trail Journeys, Blue Kanu, House of Travel, Paper Plus, MyAgency, Cromwell Chiropractic, Lilly & Esther, Aimee Jade Hair Artistry, Pitches Store, Cloudy Bay, Lusso, Scott Base, One Body Wellness, She Bakes NZ, and Quartz Reef.

Our Sip and Support event proved to be an overwhelming triumph. By focusing on breast cancer, raising awareness, and providing a platform for breast cancer survivors to share their stories, we achieved our primary objective for the evening. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended the event and generously contributed their support.
